What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Kibi's Corner Inc. runs this website. This policy covers our website, our email newsletter, our printables, and our shop.
What we collect
Your email address, if you join the Kibi Club. This is collected and held by beehiiv, the service that runs our newsletter, rather than by this website.
Your name, only if you choose to give it.
Anything you write to us in a message.
A note about someone kind, if you send one to the Appreciation Wall. That is the first name of the person you are writing about, what they did, your own first name, your email address, and a record that you ticked the box giving us permission to share it.
We only ever publish a note if that box was ticked, and we only ever publish first names. Your email address is never shown to anyone. It is there so we can tell you if your note is the one that goes up.
Ordinary server information, recorded automatically by our web host: IP address, browser and device type, and which pages were opened. This keeps the site running and helps us spot abuse.
Order details, if and when our shop opens: your name, shipping address, and contact details. Payment is handled by Shopify. We never see or store full card numbers.
One small thing in your browser. Our homepage remembers whether its opening animation has already played, so it does not repeat while you look around. It is a single yes or no marker. It holds no personal information, it never leaves your browser, and it disappears when you close the tab.
What we do not do
We do not run Google Analytics, or any other analytics or advertising tracker, anywhere on this website. There are no advertising pixels, no behavioral tracking, and no profiling.
Nothing loads from another company when one of our pages opens. Even our fonts sit on our own server. Reading a page here does not report you to anyone.
We do not sell your information. We do not swap, rent, or share our mailing list, and we do not let any other business market to it. That includes newsletter cross-promotion schemes, which we stay out of.
If we ever add analytics, or anything at all that loads from another company, we will update this page before the change goes live and say plainly what it does.
Children
Kibi's world, meaning the pages made for children to look at and play in, contains no forms, no accounts, no logins, no quizzes, and no tracking. Those pages collect nothing at all.
Everything that involves giving us information sits on its own page, written for adults. That includes the Kibi Club signup, the contact form, and the shop.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in line with COPPA in the and with equivalent protections for children elsewhere.
If you are a parent or guardian and you think your child has given us personal information, write to support@kibiscorner.com and we will delete it promptly.
The Kibi Club
Our newsletter runs on beehiiv, and confirmation is required. After you enter your email address you will get one message asking you to confirm. Nothing else is sent, and no printable is delivered, until you click that link.
beehiiv holds your email address and records whether you opened or clicked our emails, so we can tell what is worth sending.
Emails come from Jamie at Kibi's Corner. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and you can use it whenever you like.
Where your information is handled
Kibi's Corner is an online business, and our readers are all over the world. Kibi's Corner Inc. is registered in Wyoming in the United States, and the services we use to host the site and send our email are based in the United States. If you are writing to us from somewhere else, your information will be handled there.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Write to support@kibiscorner.com and we will take care of it.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you can also object to how we use your information, ask us to restrict it, and complain to your local data protection authority. Our basis for emailing you is your consent, which you give by confirming your subscription and can withdraw at any moment by unsubscribing.
If you are in California, you can ask what personal information we have collected and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Keeping it safe
We take sensible steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute safety, but we will tell you quickly if something goes wrong.
Services we rely on
- beehiiv, for the newsletter and subscriber list
- Netlify, for hosting the website, its server logs, and the notes and messages sent through our forms
- Cloudinary, for storing our printable files
- Shopify and Printful, for shop orders and delivery, once the shop opens
Each of them is required to handle your information responsibly, and none is permitted to sell it or use it for their own purposes.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. When we do, the date at the top changes. If something significant changes, we will say so on the site or by email.
